Video Recording
At the request of the performing ensembles, videotaping and/or recording of this event is strictly prohibited. Any liability associated with unauthorized recordings will rest with the individual or organization making the recording. PPA does not condone, nor accept any liability for, any unauthorized recording during the event.
Spectator Ettiquette
PPA recommends fans to arrive 30 minutes before scheduled performance times.
Do not enter or exit the stands or venue during a performance and silence your devices.
Be mindful of those around you. Don’t talk during a performance, instead watch the teams hard work and support them with applause!
Support each other and the growth of the marching and performing arts by showing gratitude to all the teams, students, staff, and volunteers who make this possible.
Be aware of your comments about your own team and of others. You never know who’s grandparents who may be sitting next to you. Stay respectful, supportive, and positive.
Judges work hard during contests to provide the best feedback and educational experience for students and staff. If you sit near them they will be talking the entire time during the performance and will need time afterwards to wrap up their comments, enter scores, and prepare for the next team. Respect the judge seating areas by not entering or exiting the stands through their area and stay extra quiet if you are seated near them before and after performances.
